Can IMGG really be worth $500 MILLION?

Sometimes there are small-cap stocks that really grab our attention.  Today our team is watching Imaging3 Inc., or IMGG (OTCBB: IMGG), catapult higher, once again.  This once tiny and unknown stock has rallied more than an astonishing 2000% since the beginning of September of 2009 – that is less than three months.

The company claims to have developed a “breakthrough medical imaging device that produces 3-D medical diagnostic images.”  Wow, that sure sounds great.  Judging from the stock price, these things must be selling like hotcakes, huh?

Well, not necessarily.  According to its most recent 10-Q filing on August 3, 2009, the company reported net revenues of $574k for the six months ended June 30.  And by the way, that is DOWN from the previous year’s $902K in sales in the same period.

IMGG does claim to be in the “FDA approval process” for this device, we can see multiple announcements the company has made regarding that.  What we would like to see are some fundamentals.  How about trying raise some money to build these silly machines?

Oh wait, the company ALREADY DID raise $2.67 million (read the SEC filing for it here).  With an amazing product like this and an incredible stock price, IMGG must have gotten very good terms on this investment, right?

Well, would you believe that IMGG gave away a staggering 107,059,027 of its shares for that $2.67 million to some very astute investors?  That works out to only $.025 a share.

Now that is an incredible deal – for the investors.  They must have had remarkable insight to turn their $.025 investment into $1.95 as of this writing, a stunning 7800% increase since October 6.

Now draw your own conclusions here, but something smells a little fishy about all this.  We’ll do some more homework and update you later on it.

Below is a quick chart that you can see how it has made this meteoric rise.

  1. Have you seen the device? Are you aware of the recent changes in approach to imaging via gpu, have you seen the code available for download at the fda or compared to the Dominion? If not, maybe that’s why you can only ask questions and speculate.

  2. youre a moron first of all. In addition it looks like all you did was copy the Tim Sykes article from a month ago when he said to short it at .70. Do some more research on the product itself and listen to a conference call or 2 before copywriting other bashers material. This is why Beacon is known as a shady uneducated research group.

  3. It sounds like whoever wrote this article has no idea what Imaging 3 has created.

The Dominion is going to help people. Period.

  4. We are a group of physicians that have invested individually that believe this technology is going to have profound and far reaching positive effects in the medical field. We are excited to see this company moving rapidly toward a successful future and believe the potential applications of the technology is what will drive the market share of it…..not just speculative investors and skeptics.

  5. Beacon MORONS, get your facts right and a little DD would go along way to support reporting facts. The share offering was struck months ago when the PPS was about .03-.04. This technology is a major benefit to healthcare and all you can do is BASH IT!

  6. Wow.. Did Tom Sykes write this up?? Can’t believe a website like this would post an article so misinformed.

  7. LOL @ BeaconEquity.com

  8. Another red flag is that the CEO of this company, his associates and even his family has posted hundreds of messages on the internet message boards.

  9. stock was valued at 750m today on 1.5m revs. SAY NO MORE AND SHUT THE F UP. I break stocks like this for a living stock aint worth 50c watch it go back there in 1 week, clowns.

  10. save all your research all of you, the story is they sold a chunk of their stock at 2.5c(GREAT DEAL, lol) to a group of sophisticated buyers and now they have run it to the high moons and now they sell all over our stinking faces. Theyve been doing it since the beginning of time. Its how Rome was built. Just short the stock and cover with me at 50c. All you need to know is KILLER KHAN is short the stock…works every time. Then timmy will short the stock then beacon shorts, lol. I think you get the picture. Enjoy

  11. So you weren’t calling it a silly machine a few weeks ago Beacon? Now all the sudden its silly? ROFL@geekin equity! hahahah YOU HAVE BEEN EXPOSED!!!! HAHAHAHAHAH

  12. They raised that money with that low share price when it was trading in the penny range durring the summer. The deal was signed then. When it finally got the funds and it became public the stock was in the high .20’s to low 30’s. Nothing fishy about that if you have the big picture. Do some DD.

  13. WOW. What a hard bash. Reported by someone unfamiliar with the potential of the product, the progress of the FDA process, and why it has impacted the pps.

    Yep. No agenda here.

  14. This type of analysis is really worthless. The real questions to ask are

Is the product real? (We know it is).
Does it work? (We know it does).
Does it have a legitimate chance at FDA approval? (we know it does).
    Is there patent protection? (Yes)
What is the market for the product? (We know it is big and can estimate ourselves with proper dd).
Are there similar products on the market? (No)
What is the potential profit per share and appropriate multiple? (Easy to do with the other answers)

If you can answer these question with confidence in the manner I have, you are long. If you can’t, you rely on incomplete facts, flawed analysis, etc such as this. For instance, the chief question of the article … why hasn’t the company sold a product for which they do not have FDA approval? I think anyone can realize that is a pretty dumb question.

  15. IMGG is going to end badly. Lots of red flags here.

  16. I am a large stock holder and I’m not gonna say to much because its all been said but the person that wrote this needs to proof read his work. The stock is going to go through the roof. Every hospital in the world will have one of these.

  17. Who bought those stocks, in the first place? I have started analysing the potential value of the product at stockshealthcare.blogspot.com
