With Water Technologies International, Inc. (WTII) traders have a once-in-a-lifetime chance here to trade what is essentially a virgin ticker since this one only recently started trading hands.

MACD just hopped above both signal and the zero-point line. WTII now has technical momentum and a positive trend on its side.

RSI has joined the party, surging well above 50 to confirm the momentum throbbing on this chart.

It’s now hard to believe that Aperture Health, Inc. (APRE) used to keep a pretty low profile, going months without a single share moving.

APRE is now moving MILLIONS of shares a session as the market clues into what this company’s new home intravenous treatment business means for its bottom line.

For the first time in living memory, there’s enough skin in the APRE game for traders to actually make real money.

Chart Analysis:

95% of all APRE volume from the last year moved in the last 5 days. That’s not just a volume spike…it’s a chart-changing event.

The accumulation/distribution line dipped as traders sensibly lightened up after APRE’s most recent 4-bag swing, but now they’re buying again!

MACD has been leading signal back upward for almost a month now. Slowly but surely, momentum is getting back behind APRE.

RSI is near the 30-point “oversold” lin where it was right before APRE hopped 70% from $0.33 to $0.56 a few weeks ago.

APRE is now 22% below even the 10-day trend that it had previously tracked extremely closely. Some “reversion to mean” would be nice!

Before you hit the weekend, let’s look at the fire that’s gotten under OSL Holdings, Inc. (OSLH) and its once-room-temperature chart.

The “OSL” in OSLH stands for “Office Supply Line,” but the similarities to “Office Space” or even “Office Max” end there!

OSLH is a lot more than a souped-up version of Staples.

And as traders wise up to just what exactly OSLH is, turnover has gone through the roofand the price action has been pushing off… for the first time in living memory.

Chart Analysis:

Check out the sudden volume surge: 95% of ALL OSLH turnover for the last year, moving in the last six weeks!

OSLH has been swinging nicely off an $0.11 base but from here it would take a 14% leap before it tangles with the 50-day trend.

MACD shimmied above signal a few days ago, telling everyone in the market that OSLH is in play.

STO has come along nicely and is now testing the center line. Do we feel honest-to-god momentum brewing here?

Accumulation just printed a nice sharp “V” as traders flip from bored OSLH sellers to active buyers!

Sauer Energy, Inc. (SENY) gave us a solid double-digit payday about a month ago, and that was before the company confirmed that yes, its products are finally moving toward the market.

By now you know FrogAds, Inc. (FROG) as not only the for-profit, commercial version of hippie-leaning Craigslist, but as a stock that has proven in the past that it can jump 15% to 50% when the right news lands on its chart.

The last time I showed you this stock it ran well over 30% over 3 consecutive high volume days.

You better make sure you are watching the FROG again now!

We’ve been banging the table on FROG for good reason this month – It’s made our subscribers money!

Chart Analysis:

Price action has dipped below all trend lines FROG has printed so far… just reverting to the 20-day average would give traders an 18% upshot.

Accumulation line has gone from molehill to full-fledged mountain in the last two weeks. Somebody’s gobbling FROG shares!

STO is closer to oversold than it’s been since FROG went on that 65% bull run earlier this month.

Volume is still extremely robust by historical standards — two months ago, nobody thought FROG would ever hop like this.

Emo Capital Corp. (NUVI) does its business under the “NuVitality” brand — one of the up and coming names in the “superfood” world.

NUVI’s products have all the fruits and berries and vitamins of a Monavie…not to mention the direct marketing network that the Wall Street Journal has touted as a billion-dollar opportunity. (Read more)

You can’t even trade Monavie, much less get in on the ground floor, but the market is definitely falling in love with NUVI!

Chart Analysis

The massive upward trend NUVI has been on since around Thanksgiving speaks for itself. All the way from $0.25 to $0.71…so far!

Price action rocketed above the 200-day average months ago and has been drawing support from the 50-day line ever since.

MACD is bouncing happily along in positive territory to confirm that NUVI’s upward trend is alive and well.

STO hasn’t dipped below the 50-point line since early November – momentum galore!

Average weekly volume is up a robust 160% over the last month, giving NUVI-hungry traders plenty of chances to fill their plates.

TBSS International, Inc. (TBSS) is an old-fashioned lotto ticket that’s trading at a dime a share — a dramatic discount to what even they claim their “intellectual” property is worth!

TBSS operations run the gamut from oilfield services to gold mining to construction contracting, but the crown jewel fell out of the box into its lap a few weeks ago in the form of an opportunistic acquisition.

And as the markets digest the $84 MILLION that acquisition represents, TBSS has been building a mighty strong base here at $0.09 to $0.10.

With that kind of pent-up energy on the chart, it might just take a spark to push TBSS up and off its launch platform!

Chart Analysis:

After surging all the way to $0.285 a few weeks ago, TBSS seems to have found plenty of support here at $0.10 for many days now.

MACD has been ratcheting up the heat here above signal since November…talk about a coiled spring!

STO now looks profoundly oversold at 2 on a 100-point scale.

Accumulation just wiggled upward. Somebody’s nibbling at TBSS again!

Trend lines reflect a crowded trade, but unless TBSS climbs 40% today, not even the 200 mda should create much resistance.

Advanced Cell Technology, a leader in the field of regenerative medicine, today announced treatment of the first patient in its Phase 1/2 clinical trial for Stargardt’s macular dystrophy (SMD) using retinal pigment epithelial (RPE) cells derived from human embryonic stem cells (hESCs). The surgery was performed on Friday, Jan. 20, at the Moorfields Eye Hospital in London by a team of surgeons led by Professor James Bainbridge, consultant surgeon at Moorfields and Chair of Retinal Studies at University College London. The patient successfully underwent the procedure without any complications. ACT and Moorfields Eye Hospital received clearance in September from the U.K.’s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) to begin this trial in Europe.

“Our clinical trial program for hESC-derived RPE cells has taken another critical step as we move forward with treating patients at Moorfields Eye Hospital,” said Gary Rabin, chairman and chief executive officer of ACT. “The treatment of the first patient in Europe is tangible evidence that stem cell research and development of cell therapies is making progress. It is a milestone for scientists, stem cell advocates and patients hoping for cures as well as much as it is one for ACT. Stargardt’s macular dystrophy affects up to 100,000 patients in Europe and North America, and causes progressive vision loss often ending with blindness. We are honored to be working with Professor Bainbridge at Moorfields Eye Hospital, and are very pleased with the smooth progress of the trial thus far.”

Professor James Bainbridge, the study’s principal investigator, said, “The patient, who is severely sight-impaired, underwent transplantation of fully differentiated retinal pigment epithelial (RPE) cells derived from human embryonic stem cells. There were no complications, and the patient has tolerated the surgical procedure well. We will be regularly monitoring the safety and tolerability of the transplanted cells. While this is primarily a safety trial, we will have the opportunity to image engraftment of RPE cells non-invasively and to assess any changes in sight. We are very excited to be working with ACT on the first human embryonic stem cell trial in Europe. Stargardt’s macular dystrophy is a serious and progressive disease that usually starts between the age of 10 and 20 years. It includes degeneration of RPE cells in the macula at the center of the retina, the region specialized for high acuity vision. With the loss of RPE cells in the macula comes the eventual loss of light-sensitive photoreceptor cells, leading to blindness at the prime of life. We hope that transplantation of healthy RPE cells might also help in other significant degenerative eye diseases affecting the retina for which there are no effective treatment options – particularly dry age-related macular degeneration which is the leading cause of blindness in Europe.”

The Phase 1/2 trial will involve 12 patients, with cohorts of 3 patients each in an ascending dosage format and is similar in design to the FDA-approved U.S. trial that was initiated in July 2011. The open-label study is designed to determine the safety and tolerability of hESC-derived RPE cells following sub-retinal transplantation in patients with Stargardt’s macular dystrophy at 12 months, the study’s primary endpoint.
